  • McKinsey has launched a new AI assistant called Lilli to help its consultants find relevant research and recommendations.

  • Lilli leverages natural language processing and searches McKinsey's corpus of 100k+ documents to provide insightful responses.

  • It has been in beta since June 2022 with ~7,000 users and has already reduced research time from weeks to minutes.

  • Lilli provides full attribution, citing sources for each response, and may be expanded for client data analysis pending security reviews.
