The one line that makes AI check its own work

Most people stop at the first draft AI hands them. Read it, tweak it, send it. One more line changes what “done” means — it stops handing you a finished-looking draft and starts handing you one with the risky parts already circled.

The move: make it review itself before you do

You already know to check AI's work. The move is making it check first, so your read starts somewhere better than page one. Add this to the end of anything you're directing it to do:

Before you show me this, review your own work against the standards above.
Flag anything you're unsure about, anything that might be wrong, and anything you had to guess at.

That's it. One sentence. It doesn't slow the task down — it just makes the seams visible instead of buried. You're not outsourcing the judgment call. You're getting handed the version of the draft where the parts that need your judgment are already marked.

Speed everywhere it doesn't matter. Your eyes exactly where it does.

Don't test this on a throwaway task — add it to the next real one. Notice what it flags. Half the time it's a small save. The other half, it just caught something you would've sent.
