Revolutionizing Client Pitches with GenAI
One of our Seatd co-founders, Eric, shares his thoughts about working with a client last week 👇👇
The above images are ones that ended up on the cutting room floor. In the fast-paced world of advertising pitches, every image and minute counts. Recently, using generative AI, I crafted style boards and images at an astonishing rate, outpacing a traditional art director by a staggering 21,300%. With just a day before the pitch deadline, I was able to generate 10-15 diverse styles, ultimately narrowing them down to two compelling visual narratives, each consisting of 9 meticulously crafted custom styleboards - all within 8 hours and 639 images at my disposal.
This breakthrough approach not only saves an insane amount of time but also offers a plethora of creative options, ensuring that your pitch stands out and resonates with clients. Speed and efficiency aside, we were able to create unique & stunning images that would take a traditional artist days to make. But, this only highlights the need for domain experts, and with 639 images to wade through, it requires a keen eye and curation on behalf of the generative artist and creative director.
The understanding of the narrative, creative intent, and client’s need to best serve the creative vision shouldn’t be overwhelmed by the sheer volume of creative content that can be generated. Thoughtfulness is required. The raw power of creation is at its best when in the hands of the talented people who know how to use it. Explore the future of design using generative AI and redefine the boundaries of what’s possible. It can be a powerful tool in winning your next job.

WGA Votes to Ratify Contract, Officially Ending One of Hollywood’s Longest Strikes
The Writers Guild of America overwhelmingly voted to ratify the new contract, formally ending the prolonged Hollywood strike.
The contract includes gains like bonuses for writers of top streaming shows and minimum staffing levels for writing rooms.
Writers will return to work, but production can't fully resume until a deal is reached between studios and the actors' union SAG-AFTRA.
The WGA agreed to a framework for using AI without undermining writer credits or compensation.
At 148 days, this was one of the longest strikes in the guild's history.

Definition: Multimodel Language Model
Similar to a large language model, a multimodal language model is a type of deep learning model trained on large datasets, but unlike large language models which are only trained on textual data, multimodal language models are trained on both textual and non-textual data. This allows it to generate responses to multiple input modalities, like text, images, audio, and video.
